Today my Brother in Law brought me some nice pallet wood. The best part was it was already broke down. The wife and I started staining a few this evening and it appears they are going to look great on the wall. Last spring I did the same to one wall in our trailer and I think it turned out pretty good.
Last spring
This is the load brought in today. Am I ever thrilled they are already broken down. The few we stained this evening look pretty good.
We try to do most of our project stuff in the Spring, Winter, or Fall. If you've ever been down in Alabama in the Summer then you know where I'm coming from. Summer will put a hurting on ya down here. Recently we took out two walls to make our living room much larger. It wasn't to hard to do just pretty damn messy. Our ultimate goal is to use the pallet wood in the living room and part of our kitchen. It takes this old guy a while but I get'r done but eventually I get'r done. I'll update this later when we get it finished.
