Like a 5 pointed star with antennae. Really hard shell. It's eating my potato leaves and has a healthy appetite but doesn't show up on any potato pest resource.

Actually the dark colored part of the shell kind of looks like a bear rug. Bear rug bug.

Spinosad should kill them. Unless of course you want to wait for a hare beetle to show up, then you can watch them race.

Thanks dude, I don't have that on hand so just walked the rows picking them off. Everything I read said they aren't too terribly bad ultimately. If they can't be picked I'll check that spinosad out.
