Rolled my first 4 cigars from the kit today. My kit came with:
Ecuador Maduro Wrapper (10-11 whole leaves all in very good shape)
Dominican olor Binder (about 6oz / 20 leaves)
Piloto Cubano Seco (4oz)
Dominican Viso (2oz)
Nicaragua Esteli Ligero (2oz)
My first blend was roughly 2:1:1 of seco:viso:ligero And I used two halves of the olor as a double binder. Any advice would be welcome.
Getting the filler even is going to take some practice, but it wasn't too bad. I have a tendency to have more density thickeness at the head. After wrapping in binder, I rolled in paper since I have not taken the time to print a mold.
The wrapper was lightly misted and placed in a bag while I was working with a filler and binder. Wrapping seemed to go okay but I have some work to do on the head. Glue seemed to work ok.
I smoked the first one I made immediately and enjoyed it. I had only planned to roll two today but ended up rolling four in total.
Excited to roll more!View attachment 52196
