1 . Perique [when air-cured, this makes flavorful, medium-strength cigar filler.]
3. Maryland 609 [I've smoked a lot of this (grown by BB) in cigars. Medium strength.]
4. Smyrna #9 [A productive Izmir-type Oriental, excellent in cigarette and pipe blends.]
5. Zimmer Spanish [A deeply flavorful Havana-type filler.]
6. Little Dutch [Richly flavorful, mild cigar filler.]
8. Florida Sumatra [Makes excellent medium-brown wrapper when sun-grown. Even better when shade-grown.]
9. Penn Red [Full-flavored, medium-strength cigar filler.]
13. Kelley Burley [A large-leafed, moderate strength white-stem variety. Lower leaves make excellent light wrapper.]
15. Ct Broad Leaf [A deeply colored, full-strength cigar wrapper, usually sun-grown.]
19. Comstock Spanish [A deeply flavorful Havana-type filler. Upper leaf kilns very dark.]
22. Xanthi Yaka [The holy grail of light, aromatic Oriental leaf. For cigarette and pipe blending. Also known as Yenidje.]
23. Shirazi [Produces larger leaf than most Oriental. Air-cures best when stalk harvested. Superb after long aging.]
24. Samsun [A fuller-bodied, productive Oriental, grown with wide spacing. For pipe and cigarette blending.]
27. Bolivia Black [A potent, musty cigar filler, also excellent straight in a pipe. Unique and wonderful.]
35. Dominican Olor [Medium-bodied cigar filler.]
36. Glessnor [A large seedleaf variety. Makes medium-bodied filler, sturdy binder and wrapper.]
37. Harrow Velvet [A yummy, golden white-stem burley. Medium strength and flavor.]
38. Jalapa [A full-bodied cigar filler.]
39. Machu Picchu [Peruvian. When sun-grown, makes dark brown, flavorful wrapper.]
40. Mutki [A surprisingly large-leafed Oriental (possibly semi-Oriental) that makes thin wrapper when sun-grown.]
41. Vuelta Abajo [A true Cuban variety for cigar wrapper, binder, filler.]
44. Keller [A mild, productive Maryland variety. Makes great Black Cavendish. Toasty taste as cigar filler.]
45. Wisconsin Seed Leaf [Large and productive. Makes good filler and binder with medium flavor.]
46. Jamaica Wrapper [Doesn't make much wrapper-grade leaf when sun-grown, but adds a rich, toasty, distinctive Jamaica flavor to filler.]
48. Havana 38 [A medium-size cigar filler variety. Medium-strength and flavor.]
49. Tasova [An edgy Oriental variety. Tolerates close spacing. For cigarette and pipe blending.]
50. Hickory Pryor [A flue-cure variety with large leaves. Top leaf will kiln to black oscuro wrapper.]
51. Balikesir [A medium-strength Oriental for cigarette and pipe blending.]
52. Sacred Corn Planter Rustica [When suckers controlled, produces "large" leaf. Mild nicotine, with distinctive rustica aroma.]
55. CT Shade [When shade-grown, yields excellent wrapper. Sun-grown leaf more suitable for binder.]
56. Monte Calme Brun [Enormous leaves. Mild-to-medium strength. Suitable for cigarette blending and cigar filler.]
57. Manila Wrapper [May yield wrapper when shade-grown. Mild strength and flavor.]
58. Samsun Maden [A rich and flavorful Oriental. Tolerates close spacing. Good for cigarette and pipe blending.]
60. Catterton ( Maryland ) [A mild, productive plant. Suitable for cigarette and pipe blending.]
61. Wisconsin 901 [A WI Seedleaf variety. Large and productive, medium-to-dark brown. Good as cigar filler, binder, sometimes wrapper.]
62. Paris Wrapper [A flue-cure variety. Air-cures to mild, light leaf. Flue-cured has a distinctive taste for pipe and cigarette blending.]
63. Papante [Primitive. Similar to Little Dutch, but darker and stronger.]
64. MT Pima [Primitive. Similar to Little Dutch, but darker, stronger, and lends a peppery edge to blends.]
65. Little Yellow [A Dark-air variety. Richly flavorful. Useful in pipe blends and as filler. May be suitable for chew and snuff.]
66. Golden Burley [A white-stem burley. Very light yellow leaf.]
67. Lancaster Seedleaf [A large-leafed, productive plant. Milder and lighter than WI Seedleaf and Glessnor. For cigar filler.]
68. Pennsylvania Red (NP) [This PA Red is derived originally from seed by Nicotiana Project. Seems more productive.]
