Thanks for the photos. Is the damage irreversible? It is interesting to see how tobacco can even grow on a soil like that. Denizli'ye selamlar (Greetings to Denizli).

Dodder is a parasitic weed. It wraps around the tobacco stem with its thin thread-shaped stem and inserts its suckers into the plant, taking the water and nutrients from the tobacco. It shares the water and nutrients of the tobacco, which reduces the yield. Dodder easily passes from the infected plant to other neighboring plants and infects them as well. It can cause weakening, stunting or complete death of infected plants.
