I've got my leaf, I've been going through it and noticed what I have left has pretty large secondary veins (not the primary vein in the middle of the leaf (the stem).

If I took all these veins out I'd have chunks of leaf that wouldn't be good for anything but filler. How do I go about rolling cigars where the wrapper/binder have decent veins? I've noticed some issues with A) the look B)burning characteristics as well as rolling issues.

Any help is appreciated folks.

A cigar press would help the looks. Maybe pre-pressing the leaf could help with rolling issues and burn. Stogies table top mounted lever press would work.

Lay the wrapper half-leaf flat, then use your chaveta (or a knife) to cut out a single, shallow arc (maybe 1/2" to max of 1" wide) along the length of the stem edge. This will remove most of the really thick segment of each vein. It also allows the wrapper to be applied more smoothly.

I do this only for the most troublesome veins. I usually just ignore them.
