I will do a wood handleIf you decide to attach a comfortable, somewhat fat handle along the back edge, I suspect that you will be pleased. An alternative would be a split length of Tygon tubing.

The smaller the arc section, the greater wrist and arm rocking motion will be necessary. You won't need to apply much pressure so limit the wrist movement to reduce fatigue.
