I have so many options that I am paralyzed in the decision process.

I have some Dominican Seco that I haven't done anything with. (22 oz of it)

Looking for some suggestions on what goes well with it.

I tend to lean on Sumatra for a binder (I just like how the stuff works) but am not against using something else.

What I have floating in filler stock are:

Criollo 98 Seco
Criollo 98 Viso
Dominican Viso
Mata Fina
Nicaragua Habano Seco
Nicaragua Habano Viso
Paraguay Flojo Africa Viso
Piloto Cubano Seco
Piloto Cubano Viso
Piloto Cubano Ligero
San Vincent seco
San Vincent Liguero

Wrappers I have some options:

Bezuki Wrapper
Criollo 98 Wrapper
Ecuador Shade Wrapper
Habana 2000 Wrapper
Ecuador Maduro wrapper

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I got this one, one of my best blends yet and most favorite. the first choices in the list are what I used in my "Octane" blend. I have added the [leaf ] I would substitute with-
1 San Vicente Ligero,[or swap for Criollo viso ]
1/2 Mata Fina [,or swap for 1/2 Piloto Cubano viso+ 1/2 PC ligero]
1 Nicaraguan Viso
1 Dominican seco
1 Edcuador Maduro wrapper(cut the heavily ribbed area out and use for binder, use the more delicate edge for wrapper)
you can also wrap it with the Honduran , I have it plays well...more like wonderfully

let it rest 2 weeks in a humidor . Tell me how you like it. Tell me also what you smell as a cold aroma and then what you taste during the smoke. I'm curious of others olfactory and taste senses .

Roll a little stogie of each filler type seco, just to note the different flavors and aromas.

Piloto Cubano offers a distinctive nuttiness, like walnut. When used as a double binder, surrounding a filler of Criollo 98, it works some interesting magic. Wrapper of your choice.
