Greetings,
I am getting mixed info on fermentation. Some places say you must or the tobacco will be harsh and full of ammonia. Yet wikipedia says only some tobacco is fermented. My grandfather sun cured his cigarette tobacco. I had another friend that air cured his tobacco and put it in a pipe. Both were using Va Bright. Maybe it depends on the end use. My plan is to roll it into cigars though I might break the boundaries for types used.
So please enlighten this newcomer.
Thanks,
John
