First attempt at growing tobacco (Burley) need advice please.

Tobacco was historically grown in southwest Virginia. I see fields of burley just over the West Virginia border. [I have never attended Virginia Tech, though my older brother taught Engineering there.]

Tobacco grows from Canada to the High Andes plateaus, and from Australia and New Zealand through Indonesia and southeast Asia to Nepal. Tobacco is widely grown in Europe, Russia and China. You just need about 90 days of suitable growing conditions.

Because my first grow was only 50% successful. (virginia grew well , but burley was a complete disaster), I've bought in some burley whole leaf. My virginia leaves have been hanging for nearly four months now, so I thought I'd give it a go. The mix is 66% burley, 33% virginia and 1% bugs and dirt.
I'm very pleasantly surprised. Easy to roll, burns well, doesn't keep going out and a smooth smoke with a decent nicotine hit.

Last but not least. How do you keep a marriage together, when all you can think and talk about is tobacco? I can be a bit OCD, according to my wife.
