This is getting to be a scary world we're living in. Time for the South to secede again. And close our borders to idiots. I expect them to bypass congress and pass that global arms treaty to disarm all private citizens in the world. He can do that without support cause treaties trump congress. Same with this tobacco treaty.

The world is changing folks, best be prepared to be self sufficient to which extent you can. I know I can do anything up to making insulin for myself, I figure if I can't get that then it's my time to go.

Learn to grow what you need/want to survive (and prepare by having the supplies to do so)
Have water available
Know the laws
Gather your defensive tools

Gotta do what we can folks!

Welcome to my world Tobacco tax increases every six months or so,

I send a lot of tobacco to New Zealand...just sent two more orders today.

For $70 (which includes shipping) you can get 3 1/4 lbs of premium whole leaf tobacco. Here in the States, if you buy cigarettes at $5.50 per pack, you're spending $120 a pound for tobacco.

There is no Global tax on whole leaf either.

i guess you could look at it,,,,

as a lesson to those that '' know-how'' and those that will fork over thier dollars like sheep.

i despise buying my wife a pack of smokes, but she dont like my homegrown cigg's.

when fuel goes thru the roof, im sure a black market for ethanol. [ or moonshine] for fuel will arise,

im noticing a lot of people are raising thier own chickens these days,
i have 2 friends that are raising some beef-cows, back in the day my grandpa raised hog's,,, my uncle is a cattle farmer,

what im saying, is most people would rather pay for a item than take on the '' inconvience'' or responsibility of raisng thier own food,
thats why very few i see plant a veggie garden, allthough a lot of people do '' for a hobby''
but what will they do when the gobal economy goes thru the roof, and a onion, cost 3 bucks, because the price of fuel to get that onion to market is 9$ a gallon?

i try to pinch corners as much as possible, THATS ONE REASON i grow my own smoke, '' legal;'' and il-legal smoke<!!!!!

I'm a lot like that. People say "How can you afford that (whatever)." These same folks say "Why do you bake/cook/grow (whatever). It's so much bother." As you say, the time may come when you can't buy whatever like say a Twinkie. Today's news says they're gone forever.

My friends say I'm frugal. The others say I'm cheap. (But they like my homemade stuff well enough.)
