The nice thing about germinating an closed containers then transplanting to individual cells is growth is never stalled from crowding. If that were my tray I'd be snipping sprouts right now.

Snipping the sprouts? As in clipping the leaves? Searched for info but did not find good info on which ones to clipp.

I believe he is referring to your crowded cells. At some point you'll want to either transfer a single seedling to a single cells or remove all the smaller seedlings until one is left. Overcrowding causes the plants bunch up roots causing slower growth. You will see a big difference once you thin them out.

Leaf clipping: use a sharp scissor to remove 1/2 to 2/3 of each leaf that shades a neighbor. (Regardless of whether you clip them or not, these bottom leaves generally are considered "trash", once they are grown.) Don't clip the growth tip of the stalk.
