My two highest yielding plants as is are my two semois plants. They are shooting above all of the others and are high producers. Was wondering if anyone has made a snus out of it and how it was?

I've never made any snus from burley, but many people recommend it highly for that purpose. I read the description on Northwood seed site, and it sounds like it would be a good candidate for snus.
What do you normally make it out of? I am assuming a type of Va since there isn't really much else haha.

I flavoured my second batch with anise and licorice, so that flavouring dominates. My first batch was not flavoured. I will grab a pinch right now and give you my impression:

Nose out of the jar is big, fermenty burley, chocolate, with some ammonia still there. This has been in the fridge for 19 days now.

Flavour is salty chocolate, with a slight floral geriniol overtone. Bit of leather. Lovely tingle from the nicotine.

I love it, and I like the ammonia too. So much that I also put a bit of ammonium chloride in my second batch. A Dutch/Scandinavian, salmiak kinda jam.

I am going to snus my Harrow Velvet, Little Yellow and One Sucker, if I succeed in curing them. Looking forward to sharing my impressions.
