I will wait a few day before spraying
They are in on a seeding gardens soil, with also vermiculite
full sun.
and I moist the soil before, and the soil is still humid, i don't want to drown them.

Well when you begin you don't know if they are drown, too wet or too dry
I now wet them by the botton using a pan of water and made some hole underneath the bowl itself or container.
For the container it gets full humid for now with the cover on
and maybe i have too much water in the pan, i will adjust my technique
so I will immerse the bowl less frequently.
The container is not fully cover to let the air in
I am on a well, I don't think there is a problem with a weel water.

Now june 1, i have no other choice to start a new try, accepting that they are dead
And i am very late to plant.
i now understand the process and give it a go
Wondering how you guys can evenly put the seeds evenly, those are so tiny if not ...microscopique '' ;_)
any tricks, few more seeds avalaible, i will not miss my second try

There are many different methods. Some start in moist paper towel inside a sandwich bag. When they sprout, move the sprouts to cells in 1020 tray. Another starts in a little soil in a peanut butter jar like a little greenhouse. I start my seed directly in the 1020 tray by just sprinkling some over the soil. Rather than transplant, I use tweezers and remove the less healthy plants until there is one plant per cell of my best plants. Good soil, good light, good temperature, proper moisture.

what would you do with maybe 300 seeds that are starting in this pot.
Transfer right now ?
Transplant immédiatly to 1 200 cells
Not sur what to do
beginner mistake,
Imagine if they all grow !!!!
better loose some right now what you think
the goal af a mistake is to be corrected :)

The photo reveals only a foggy lid. If you can recognize a germinated seed, then you can use a toothpick or forceps to immediately transfer it onto the surface of a shallow divot within a single cell of a 1020 tray insert.

When they sprout, they will only have a single tap root and are easy to separate. Later, they will put out secondary roots that can become entangled. If they are entangled, I have found it rather easy to put the lot in a bowl of water and that seems to help tease apart the roots. I would just leave them now, then separate them while each has only the single tap root, before they become entangled.

I have successfully transferred germinated seeds when still at the radicle stage:

Each seed sprouts a curled, white rootlet (a radicle) as soon as it germinates.
