Hi, i am new in tobacco growing!
I have a passion for cigars and want to know more about tobacco and understandig the whole process.
So i decided to learn about by doing it for myself.
I do it just for fun and i do not ecpect an awardwinning cigar.
I start with 30 plants!
I will do germination in coconut source tablets.
To this issue i have my first question.
Are coconut source tablets appropriate?
Are there any proplems with it?
Is there anything i have to care for?

Unless the coconut coir tablets contain added fertilizer, then you will need to provide that after germination, usually in the water.

Welcome to the forum. Austria is a beautiful place, I hope to go back some day. You should have no problem growing there if your climate is similar to Vienna.
I don’t know much about the coconut tablets, but potting soil in a tray works just fine.

Good luck with your grow.
I'm starting this year my second grow in germany.
I have used some anzuchterde (basically compost) for starting my plants.
Raising tobacco is fairly easy. The plants are pretty robust but you should harden them a little bit off before planting.

Welcome. If you can buy leaf buy it. My brother trying to get him to try this. He smokes high end cigars. This is the place for sure. Difference is the leaf is aged. A lot of the premium cigars the leaf is 7 years old
