Leaf with spots ok for moist snuff?

New to myo snuff, and was wondering if the low grade leaf I bought is ok for snuff. The fronto has small 1/4in spots and the dark fire cured has larger spots up to 3/4in of what appears to be (was) dead tissue prior to curing.

These are on the dark fire cured, the ones on the fronto are very similar but smaller.

I believe you are correct. They should be just fine to use.
