Its just barely fall here and already it starts. Here's my patch as of 7:30 this AM -- The car is my neighbors. HE has the steep driveway. ha, Ha, HA! Power sawout again but only 6 hours this time. I'm guessing the grid is rather fragile after Sandy.

It was just about 6" of the wet nasty stuff and, as you might expect, the main drive belt on my plow chose that moment to give up the ghost. Yess Velll, It could have been worse.

I'm still priming leaves here and temp is varying between 54 - 64 F :) But it's very rainy, it was raining cats and dogs last night.
I must add that, we're in the same parallel with John.

I'd wait to do my garden'in for a better day. If I was the plow I would have Quit to.

When I see that white stuff falling from the sky its cause for celebration and a holiday here. I know Ive seen it at least a half dozen times.

I have just finished picking my sucker crop. We have had a couple of frosts so far. I don't expect I will be picking any more this year. I love to see the snow you guys get far more that us over here.

I lived here two years before I needed anything more than a flannel shirt. That wet snow and damp cold goes right through me, I don't miss it.
