Small Stalk Black Mammoth is a good choice. I've grown it twice and intend to grow it again soon. It's pretty high in nicotine, so it needs to be blended with something milder or it can be overwhelming.
I agree with the Small Stalk Black Mammoth. For seed suppliers www.northwoodseeds.com is a long time member.

I believe that Northwood Seeds also has Little Yellow, though not listed on their dated listing. Little Yellow is somewhat milder than most other dark air-cured varieties, and presents a subtle, unique aroma. Like all dark air-cured varieties, it cooks into a lovely Cavendish for yet another variant for pipe blending.

I have lots of Little Yellow seed in stock from 2021. And Small Stalk Black Mammoth. Madole is also quite popular. And I have a few other dark tobaccos listed. Japan 8 is a dark air cured type but it is listed incorrectly as an oriental. A few people here have grown it now.
I have been told that Little Yellow also makes an excellent chewing tobacco. The plant gets about 5' high to the crows foot with a plant form that makes it resistant to hard rains and wind. And it is a heavy producer of very large heavy weight leaf. There is really nothing "little" about it.
