So I have a 4x4 square tube that is parqurized painted on the outside and raw on the inside with rust on the inside.
I want to use it as a press form too plug. Is there a curing method that you recomend for the inside before I press To alleviate the rust?

I like the wood cladding approach or parchment paper...or both. Definitely don't use an automotive "rust converter", since these are not food-safe, and may introduce toxic chemicals into the tobacco.

Thanks for clearing that up, I spent an hour or so earlier trying to figure out if the "neutralized surface" that loctite rust converter was safe for food contact after fully cured, as in a couple of their marketing pictures they have an isolated picture of an old stove top tea kettle with the words "Stops Rust!" next to it. but that's the only clue I could find regarding using it in areas which may interact with food, other than a mention of using it on BBQ grills (despite the clear warning on the can not to use it on anything that will be heated above 200 degrees, which one would think would rule out a kettle intended to be used to boil water, and certainly BBQ grill)..
