Hello.
Cigar smoker and novice grower. Have a few Bolivian Criollo Black growing in garden and some jasmine ornamental in pots. The jasmine smell nice and producing loads of seed. Read the leaves were used for hookah pipes. Haven't picked any jasmine tho.
Bought seed from sustainable seeds.

Started picking lower leaves of the Bolivian.
Plan to make a cigar or two. Know nothing about this bizness so please advise.

Welcome to the forum, Mike. Read the New Growers' FAQ, and scan through the topics in our Index of Key Forum Threads. Both are linked in the menu bar.

You will need to color-cure the leaf, then either age it or kiln it, prior to ending up with a smokable cigar. Bolivian Criollo Black is rather potent stuff.

I'm getting pretty old to depend on aging. Suppose I better read up and learn to kiln it.
Thnx
