i accuired this camper just for the purpose of somewhere to hang my baccy...

i got 2 sheds i could have used,, but with the camper i believe it's a more controlled enviorment,,,

plus being closed in,, my air circulation circulates better,, plus with the windows i can open/close them according to how much humidity/ outside air flow, i want in there,,,

im soon to build a crockpot curing chamber and im sure it will mounted in the back of the camper,,,

...

the last picture is my fresh picked baccy i hang in the shed,, i like to colour cure it in the shed,, then move it too the camper,,,

so far the camper is doing a good job,,, it gets a lot of dew/humidity at night,,, going into case,, and then dries out completely during the day,,,,

making it perfect..

Your camper will do a better job of keeping it out of wind and rain unless your sheds are enclosed. Even with the heat and drought here mine still manages to go into a medium case [rarely heavy] most nights and crispy dry by noon. I'll pull down a 9 ft. wire of leaves, sort and and tie then rehang the few that aren't colored cured good enough[usually from exessive curling of leaf] after straighting leaf and rib as best I can. I'm still debating where to store long term because I still want it to go in and out of case for ageing purposes. I want to start being able to hold over as much as possible each year so I can get some good aged tobacco. Does anyone know if freezing temps affect quality if stored out of any direct elements such as wind and rain?

the kiln construction turned out nice,,,,, just got to install a inlet fresh air line,,,,and a exaust line,,,, and my temp/humidity guages and cut some holes for the electric cord to go thru...

i used a existing closet,,,and bumped my big box right beside iot,,, cut both ''walls'' and mounted them side-by-side,,,
