How well do they draw?

Bob
Bob I haven't given them a cold draw yet and they are still a lil damp, but I have rolled some similar that have smoked quite well. I do like a lil bit of resistance or tighter draw due to some of my first sticks ever rolled were way to loose and drove me crazy. I am fairly new to rolling my own and my first 200'ish that I rolled were done using a tri-fold book method of bunching. Using this book method I did learn, during the binding process, how tight was too tight. However, I am even newer to the entubado style of bunching and hope they are not too tight. This is why I will only roll about 4-6 sticks and will a wait a few weeks to try at least one of em out and see. I will definitely report back once I give em a try though.

Another test blend, but I have high hopes it will bring a great place to start. The idea here was to blend a stout Criollo 98, with a Sumatra tang.
W- Criollo 98: WLT
B- Double Sumatra: WLT
F- DR Criollo 98 Seco: LO- 1/2
Homegrown Criollo 98: Seco 1, Viso 1
ASP Nicaragua Ligero- 1
Seems that my torpedo rolling skills actually got better since I took a year break from my old wooden torpedo mold. Caps need refinement but it's partially because the length of the wrapper was a race to the end. Second picture is show-and-tell of the brand new DE humidor I won last week in a Katman swag contest.
Just a revisit, finally smoked one today and Holy Cow. First off burn and construction were spot on. Draw was a little tight but I fixed it with my skewer.
The combination of Criollo and Sumatra was a very flavorful experience. Like tangy milk chocolate but when the ASP kicked in at 2" this stick stepped into a new realm. Body went from mild to medium+ with zero spice. No burn on the retrohale but Nicotine is at 11. I had just eaten lunch, halfway smoked my brain felt like gooey hot lava cake and 45 minutes after I slipped into a fuzzy Saturday afternoon nap. I may just try Sumatra single binder as the tang stayed in the forefront and add some Corojo on the next batch for some spice.

I'd like to thank WLT for this burn line. That's Sumatra binder on the outside. This short filler burned slow and cool until the very end. Too bad it was bland as all get out for the first 3rd, but then the Texas Cuban kicked in, and it shifted into slightly inharmonious. Texas Cuban tastes spicy to me in the way that cinnamon gum tastes spicy, it's in the finish. Blending aside, it were a perfectly acceptable gas station cigar. I still smoked it to the end.
