I am loving this Hab. 2000 wrapper, so easy to work with. Knocked out this batch today while on conference calls :) Still working on the cap process :) I used the Sumatra binder for these as I am starting to play around with the blends some and that binder is super thin.
Very nice.

Almost up to 20 cigars rolled and figured I would post a picture of the last 10. My bunching is getting better and I don't have any with major soft spots anymore, but I need to watch some more videos on getting my caps to look a little cleaner. Cigars are all smoking well and I'm about to go light one up that I wrapped yesterday. I haven't been too concerned with the length of each cigar yet and I'm just trimming off any of the foot that feels a little under packed and moving on.

Nice work. You get the most yield out of your tobacco trimming that way. What wrapper? looks very tasty.

Rolled my first cigar yesterday and just put the wrapper on this morning. The foot feels a little underfilled so I'll work on the bunching with my next one today after I try this one. Already hooked on the process!

Awed and maybe a little jealous. Great job.

Wrapped these up yesterday from my first real order of leaf, as my previous cigars have been from kits.

44x6
#1 (left) 1 Piloto Cubano Viso, 1 Corojo Seco, 1 T-13 Viso, Dom binder, Ecuadorian Seco Shade Wrapper.
#2 (right) .5 Flojo Seco, 1 CV Corojo Viso, 1 T-13 Viso, Nic binder, Habano 2000 Wrapper.

#1 was pretty good last night, however #2 had a VERY tight draw today. Didn't really get a chance to enjoy it. :(

Good job. Too bad about the crap draw on #2.

A pair of all piloto cubano filled cigars here, even the binder is a piloto seco filler leaf. Wrapped in an Ecuadorian seco. They are sitting on a nice mold but to be honest were molded in paper strips held in place by the nice mold you can see in the pic. ;)

This tasty cigar consists of a fistful of Mexican filler, whatever it is:

bound in the lower portion of a half-leaf of this binder:

That's all. No double binder, no separate wrapper, no entubado, no trimming, no glue, no chaveta, no mold. Just a cigar to smoke immediately after rolling. My only criticism of it is that the binder leaf tends to shed ash flakes as I smoke it. That's probably due to it's lacking a companion layer. But then, I'm just sitting out on my front porch, watching a thunderhead rumble past, south of me.

Due to a year of condo life, I only grew one plant last year. It was an old Canadian cigar strain called L'Assomption 201. It grew in a pot, lost a lot of leaves to wind. It had a difficult life. I got a little over an ounce of destemmed lamina off of it.

As I sit in my new yard, planning, I am smoking this guy.

I'm testing blends. I want to roll up ten and let them sit. This guy has 2g L'Assomption 201, 1 leaf corojo seco, and 2 leaves T-13 viso with a habano 2000 wrapper.
No mold or glue.

How did the L’Assomption taste? The wife requisitioned every single square inch of the green house this year so will not have tobacco on the grow list this time but planning for next year already. These are the leaves that I harvested last year, not sure how I will ferment them.

This one is a simple blend of criollo seco and corojo seco, bound with a ligero leaf that's particularly thin. Then I wrapped it with a Piloto cubano viso filler leaf that was too good looking to put inside the cigar.
