shade grown without shade

Hey can anyone elaborate on what shadegrowns like without shade?? Will it become thick with big veins? And wats the best type of shade options cheaply accessible easy to do?
Also wat semi shade situation would be enough to b beneficial

Shade tobacco grown in the sun will be thicker than shade grown. For growing in the sun I suggest Florida Sumatra. I grew it last year in shade and sun. The sun grown was noticeably thicker but it still made a decent wrapper. For a very durable, easy to assemble shade tent try some conduit, rebar and shade cloth. Johnlee might still have some cloth available, but then again shipping would probably me cost prohibitive.

For a 30 foot row the conduit and rebar would probably cost you less than $30.00

Commercially grown CT shade in CT and southern MA are grown under 40% shade fabric. I get about that amount naturally and don't use the cloth.
