This is old news but as you know, Phillip Morris acquired Swedish Match in Feb of 2023. With this purchase, do you worry about:
1. The reduction of snus quality in terms of the GothiaTEK standards?
2. The reduction of actual quality of the snus portions/tobacco available on the market?
3. PM sabotaging the snus market in order to sell more NP's and cigs?
I wont get political but I don't trust Phillip Morris in the slightest. They're in the second most addictive business (next to sugar) in the world and they can do anything that they want as long as their product contains nicotine, all they care about is how to maximize profit. Since they are trying to circumvent legislation costs as much as possible, I could see them slashing another tobacco product to push for NP that have less regulation than its tobacco based counter parts. I guess this is why we grow our own tobacco but I was just curious if this ran across anyone else' minds.
