The ''old farm equipment'' thread...and old bacca production thread,

THE TITLE SAYS IT. ALL.... if you got some old farm equipment that you see all the time... let us see it also....

you may want to check this thread regurally if you like seeing old equipment...

...ill start with a current bacca farm i was at... thats been in the family for 100+ years.. from the old to the modern... they still grow bacca there. i deliver thier fertilizer to them/

...

and this bacca barn is right down the road from this historic farm... the pic may look crooked but it isnt.. the barn is leaning.. the board shots are the inside of it.. which looks really good for its age.. and the base is made of flint rock..

Here is a pic of some of our old farm equipment. 66 years and going strong. Really it's just my pop showing off how much his favorite peach tree ( one of the varieties he said would do well) last year. I think it's bc he gave it extra water but I am not going to argue.

Nice peach tree Texasgrown..reminds of my baby [Indian clinch] who died last year after many great years of giving small but sweet peaches..I wish knew were to buy one of those again but no luck so-far.

That said, I suspect that peach trees are not generally considered early farm equipment. Nice photos, Chicken.

And that AC "B" was the same as the one my Dad bought in 1939. The first farm tractor in our area. I learned to drive on it starting about age 7.

It's still in the barn here - on my "round-tuit" list to get it running again.

Those old AC and Farmall high crop cultivators are sweet. You really can't grow a production crop without one.
