tobacco press

Hey I know sometimes you press tobacco into bricks for storage and shredding. .or making pipe tobacco. .but does anyone have any ideas on what one this big would be used for? I think you just make a press depending on how big you want your brink. I made mine to press a 6 inch x 4 inch brick because that's what suited me. You're right about the price~ it's excessively high. All that thing is is 2 bolts ( or all thread) and some wood. I would guess it would cost you about $20 kiwi dollars to build it yourself. I built mine out of a screw press, maybe you can pick one of those up cheap and make your own.
