I am new to making dip, my question is what type of tobacco should I use? I have read a bit on the curing or fermenting process, I have no way of completing this process so I would like to buy tobacco ready to go so to say. Shred it and start the cooking process or recipe to make the dip. I see they offer smokless tobacco, dark air cured, kentucky fire cured, and maryland 609. Would any of these work to make dip? If so what process would I need to do other than shredding it? If not what tobacco should I be looking at to make dip?
Thanks for any help in advance!

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum.

Check the WLT Wiki (link in menu bar) for the section on smokeless, which does discuss tobacco varieties. There is also information within the forum on smokeless, with a number of topics listed in the Index of Key Forum Threads (link also in the menu bar).

Welcome.

Do follow Bob's advice above and check out the key forum threads and the wiki, lots of good info there.

For reference, I use 50% dark air and 50% fire cured from WLT in my dip, and I'm very happy with it.
