Hi Gang

I mentioned on an earlier post that I lost a lot of my tobacco crop during the curing phase as I was trying to find the best place so I new not everything would work. As a result of having lost so much I bought some tobacco (admin removed if post not allowed) but not from this site as I couldn't afford the postage to europe. I ended up buying from a company in Germany. The whole leaf was great if you want to shred for a pipe or cigarettes but had loads of holes and was fairly dry. The problem is I don't smoke cigarettes and can never get a pipe to stay lit and I prefer cigars and snuff. Is it worth misting and trying to use it to practice rolling cigars so I don't wreck my own stuff this year? and if so would it be worth trying to smoke it at the end ?

Cheers

Smoking a pipe takes practice to get right: Some blends smoke well with few relights, while others require constant "maintenance" of the ember. Pipe shape and draw habits further complicate the process/technique. Some people think this is what makes pipe smoking a fun "art", and other a "royal pain". :ROFLMAO:

You didn't mention what type of tobacco you bought, but I'm going to assume it was either Virginia or cigar filler. Both will contain a lot of holes and tears. In either case, unless you also purchased some quality wrapper leaf without holes trying to make a cigar with a decent draw with what you have will be an exercise in frustration.
