Today - Winter Solstice

Today is a good day , today the daytime start to be longer and brighter for the next six months
picture was taken at 11,00 and the sun approx 15° over the horizion just behind the clouds

And one could say , a new year start , time to figure out what to grow , order some seeds ,prepare trays and a lot of other things to attend

Ah, you are so much further north than I am - that's quite dark at 11AM....We will be gaining about 2 minutes here every evening from now on, although the mornings will stay dark for a while. I remember when I first came here for a visit, as a teenager - I was totally enthralled with a summer evening, where the sun was still shining at 11PM. I live by the coast and in the height of summer, the sun is setting in the west, and rising in the east at the same time. Something to look forward to!!
