Totes, Storage?

I got hit with some mold in my bags laying on the concrete Walls again
I am going to put my hefty storage bags in totes with some desiccant bags.
Any input on Totes.
Im looking for Scentless ones Cheap.

Mine is bagged (1LB + label) thermal sealed, about 20 to a tub (seal is not important) the tubs go on a wire rack off the floor and no wall. Stored in dry basement stays right around 68F year round. I know you know better but have to ask. How is the moisture content of the leaf? I have some burley bout twenty pounds down there over two years now in a large clear plastic bag (open) it is dry no issue with it....

I use brown paper shopping bags, and cardboard boxes. No mold issues from air dried leaf.
Summer is <20% humidity, 55% at night.
Winter months probably >55% days, >75% most nights.
I feel there is benefit to the small amount of air exchange through the paper.
That may not be so good in a more humid location.
If in a humid environment, store the cartons within a tented area, (painters 10 mil plastic), and run a light bulb within, all the time to drive off the humidity???

Been getting mine at Menards. I built a Menards store once and if they're all built on the same basic floor plan, look near the totes and shelving section up front by the restrooms.
The ones I found have a blue foam gasket seal and 4 lid lockers . grade 5 plastic so if you decide to put them in a kiln , they should be just fine.

I get mine at Wal-Mart. They are always on sale pretty cheap right after Christmas. They work good but most do not provide an airtight seal. Your tobacco will dry out over time. No big deal for me because I use them for bulk storage of tobacco that will be stored for a year or more before I use it.

I bag in med to low case. Never took a reading tho.
I have so much Baccy it is hard to keep the bags sway from the the concrete.
I am lacking storage room. Time to add on to the basement

Well after looking around since we have no big box stores local.
I settled on these 20 gallon totes.
They hold 8 to 9 Hefty storage 2.5 gallon ones.
It Fits in their nice.
No seal no nothing but snap over clips on the sides.
Hey 6 bucks each, I all over it like a Hornworm on a Baccy plant.
The Baccy is off the floor and away from the walls.
This years crop shredded, bagged and toted.

If I am going to destem, it is gonna go in the shredder.

That is a nice view I think if shredded let it set a few week helps it out. Those tubs S Harley is talking about work great in the kiln and I've had dark air lose in a low case in them well over 10 months without issue.
Oh eh squeeze the air out of your bags I use a big thick cutting board.

These cheap totes work good but you can't stack them high with weight in them.
i had to block them with wood to keep from falling over to the side.

It should be How not to store Baccy.
I had a bad feeling about this when putting the blocks of wood in to keep it upright.

how wide are two of those totes up close and tight to each other plus say...4 inches...I'd stick a pair of dunnage between every other stacked row, that should keep it upright.
Problem is that plastic gets to moving around with weight in it and maybe a little temperature change and then it topples like it did.

I like the totes. I kilned in then last year. Shredded, medium case, in ziplocs. 45 days. Then removed lids and opened the bags, ran the kiln another few days to dry to very low case, then reseal bags and store away worry free. For use, dump a few bags lose into a tote, mist with water, allow a day to rehydrate to usable case.
