I take anywhere from 3 to 10 leaves in medium case, fold them several times so they look like a brick and run them through. I've also pressed a brick and run that through too. The pressed brick shreds a little nicer than just folding the leaves. But for cigarettes, pipe or chew there is no significant difference in the two methods.
