Our Flue Cured Virginia Red Leaf is the highest leaf position on the tobacco plant. The result is a heavy bodied (thick) leaf with a more pronounced tobacco flavor. It is known for the darker color it achieves in the curing process where it is cured slightly hotter than our bright leaf causing the leaf to darken and produce a more distinct tobacco flavor.
