What to buy

I currently have Aleman Oscuro Cap/Banda, Nic Viso, Criollo 98 Seco, Dominican Seco and want to add two more varieties to the mix.

I never tried any type of ligero so one of my choices would be a ligero.
I've got criollo 98 sec so how different taste wise is the ligero ?
Same with the Aleman ligero since I have the Capa/Banda already
Same for the Dominican ligero ..

My second choice would be one of
cubano piloto seco/viso # leaning towards seco here.
African viso
Mata Fina

Tough decision.

I vote Nicaraguan and Piloto Cubana. Have you tried the Maduro wrapper yet?

Never tried the Maduro wrapper but I hear that it is very good.
I may add this wrapper to my list then..

The Maduro is my hands down favorite wrapper, followed by the Corojo.

I would recommend the Flojo viso and Dominican ligero, my opinion. Haven't tried the Piloto yet....

Agree with Matty. The Flojo is a milder leaf great for blending with a nice flavor.

This purchase was put on hold but back on again and will order in the next day or two.

I decided on refreshing some of my current leaf so purchasing some Dom seco, criollo 98 seco and trying the Piloto Cubana viso (The sampler). Also getting the Mata fina.

Now, I'm thinking of the Corojo viso or seco .. and either criollo 98 ligero or dom ligero .. Skipping wrapper leaf this time around.

Nice choice, the Mata Fina is small leaves but really adds some nice flavor when mixed with the Criollo and Habano. Just used that in my Christmas Blend at the shop everyone went nuts over it.

I'm all set for a good while now. Ordered the Filler combo (Dom sec, piloto Viso, Criollo98 Sec), some criollo98 ligero, Dom ligero, Mata Fina and got my hands on more Aleman capa. Can't wait..
