Hadn't posted much, but been lurking.
Grew my first crop this year. 4 cigar varieties.
Decided to stalk cure because it's so dry here. Seemed semi successful. Some leaves definitely have some green left. I think partially I harvested too early and they dried a little too fast.

Have some questions.
1) if leaves have obvious green, anything good to do with those? Otherwise, I'll make pesticide.
2) if leaves are yellow, but with a uniform greenish tinge, are they worth kilning? I think I'll have room, but the less leaves I put in my small kiln, the better airflow I'll have.
3) my leaves need to be cleaned. They have "garden stuff" on them. Mostly cotton wood seeds, corn tassel stuff, some horn worm poop.... I'm thinking I'll get a long soft bristle brush and in low case I'll hopefully be able to brush them off? When green they were so sticky, it was hopeless.
4) speaking of low case, they are currently dry as a bone. I'm thinking I'll wrap in trash bags and mist them real good a few times a day for 2 days. Hopefully that'll get then to where I can take the leaves off the stalk without losing everything.

Any advise is much appreciated!

You should take a part of a leaf and try it on a smaller scale. I’ve seen worse green leaves, why not test it out.
Will do. I'll try smoking a greenish leaf first to. Figure if it's smokable, then further curing will only help.

I haven't done that myself (first year growing, and I'm only interested in cigars and pipe), but I've read here some folks make some smokeless with those that did not cure to yellow.
Yeah, I've read that too, but I'm also not into smokeless.
