Do you mean if we've never bought any yet and were starting out with whole leaf? Or what are the next three varieties WE would buy next?

For a first time buyer Virginia Bright Leaf, Burley, and some Turkish but my next purchase would be Dark Air, Bursa or another Turkish and Monte Calme Yellow. What is Bolivia Black? Sounds interesting.

Some of the older varieties of Flue Cured, harvested and cured with some thought and care would be on my list, even at prices that reflect the extra effort. I'd at least sample every Oriental to settle what I'd want to keep on hand. Good to great Burley's, Dark air Cured and Maryland's are already available. I'm pretty new to this, so I've missed the history of it, but it seems Cigar smokers have it real good. With the tax pressures being what they are and there's a good shredder on the market now, there should be some demand for the staples for the cigarette smokers. I haven't answered your question exactly, but I think cigarette smokers as a group are just now starting to show up for the party.

What I mean is if I or someone was going to raise three varietys to sell which three would you most likely buy .
It would be nearly impossible to raise a acre of each variety .

Bolivian Criollo Black tobacco Is a cigar variety and from what I have read it makes a great wrapper if shaded .

Pa. Red
Burley

I have the Maryland and burley from 2011 laying in my barn now ( Burley red tips and mid stalk from 2010). I have the Pa red growing in two short rows . It seems like a great producer .30 inches long and about 11 inches wide . Green as green can be and still growing .
