Well I'm having excellent luck so far.
My 2nd floor of my house is actually one big room like a giant attic with windows.
On one end is years of crap in storage on the other end is my Tobacco hanging area.
My Tobacco is slowly but surely drying and turning brown but so far it is turning a leathery
texture and starting to look real good and smell good during the day it's about 100 up there with
the humidity around 45 but towards the end of the day it gets around 90 to 100 humidity and about
60 degrees when the windows are open. Almost like a giant kiln but what gets me is the leathery texture
I have an additional 73 leaves downstairs in a box that are brown and crispy dry thru and thru.
So I'm just gonna take those upstairs and leave them in the box there in now.

Any comments ?

Sounds to me like you have an unintentional kiln. Convenient as well.
I have my tobacco in my shop. it takes quite a while for the leaf to loose it's moisture, even as it turns yellow and then to brown it will still be moist and leathery more of a wilted condition rather than a drying leaf. it may be several days to even weeks before the leaf actually starts drying. From what I understand slower drying is a good thing. Luck y for you the upstairs serves the purpose so well.

I tore off a piece of a Virginia Gold leaf and cut it up into little pieces and tried smoking some of it but
it is still to wet to smoke right so I left it out to dry last night
and it stills is a little to damp this morning.

sounds like your upstairs area is doing the same thing my camper is doing for me,,,,

sorta like a small portable kiln/drying area,,, my temps stay good in there,,, and the humidity does nice also,,,,

im in the process of re-insulating it,,,{with styrofoam sheets}

next year it should be a nice tight area,, for doing all my baccy doings in,,,

....
