If your floor is dirt just build a small campfire on the dirt. Green wood will smoke more.

Do you have to stalk cure the stalk before you use it to fire cure?

Im usein the midrib from the leaf but some of them stalks is good and brown.

I got out of the van awhile ago and could smell the smoke from the shed. It ant been lit since last nite. A good sign I think. I hope that don't keep the green leaf from getting brown.

If I get a smokey taste do I need to store this backer in plastic bags to keep from losein flavor. Ive been smokein almost every day for a few hours. The last week with midribs.
