I have grown Havana and Maryland tobaccos successfully.

I made some smooth, mild cigarettes with my tobacco and I plan to roll cigars next year.

I am sprouting some Black Sea Samsun, Havana, and Connecticut shade tobaccos for next year.

I have plans of growing another Turkish variety, a Virginia and a Burley for a well blended smoke.

Which Havana did you grow? How did you cure the two types you grew?

Tomahawk -- I can give you some CT shade seeds for wrapper. PM me with your address and I'll send you 50 or so. They grow tall and need support.
Which Maryland did you grow? Got any seeds? I need some mild filler for my cigars. Are they tall or squat plants?

It was advertised as "Havana Broadleaf."
I sun dried the leaves by hanging them by string on a bamboo rack.
Then I set the leaves on another bamboo apparatus above a boiling pot of water.
I dried the leaves again on the same bamboo rack in a room with a ceiling fan.
