You seem to be somewhat into the African Red. Would you recommend it for cigarettes after some kilning in the hot attic? Same with my VA Brightleaf and golden burley is the plan. I did notice the AR is very thin and doesn't weigh much.

I definitely recommend it for cigarettes. And it blends very well with Golden Burley. I air/sun cure and dry everything and then let it hang for a few months in my barn where it goes in and out of case naturally. Never kilned anything I grow and I am very happy with my results. I flake all my cigarette tobacco instead of shredding it. It is MUCH faster and easier than shredding and it smokes just the same. The only difference I have found is that flaked tobacco will fall out of the end easier than shredded in a poorly and loosely rolled cigarette. This burn hole in my T-shirt is from a poorly rolled smoke. But if I don't rush and get sloppy with rolling, it's not really an issue.
