Here, under serious drought conditions, soon to get worse, I have a drip irrigation system set up fairly well. But, I water every day by hand, with a hose.
Got volcano craters around all plants, suitable size for the amount of water they require.
Baccy gets 2-3 litres per day. Bean and maters, less. Squash, more.
Hand watering allows me to spend the time inspecting, and enjoying all my plants. and cussing the deer that ate the top off a tomato overnight!

I got two dual charcoal filter headers (large comercial NEW) that I am putting on the kiln and bypass for the city water. What a score (free). I am using one cell for softener salts on each set. Tomatoe's are a nice snack it the baccy patch. I have a large cherry one here. I ordered a roll of micro net for net year. Going to make lables on each bag to segrigate in stages so I can re-use them. I will store them in seperate liners so as not to contaminate or cross polinate the next grow. Now that is not set in stone due to I'm thinking "not"! Scot-

Deer that eat my food tend to become food.

You blew your leaves off and you're left with just stems and stalks? I'd dry the lot bone dry, toast it, sieve it fine, and use it for dry snuff. Might have to add some sodium carbonate and age. I have no idea if that would work or not but that's what I'd try!

It blew My mind when I did That! It made Me feel like Scar Face. I had the power to distroy the world. (Till I had no baccy) and all stems left. There were only a few mud lugs on the little rack. However It was funny to see Linda's face when it happend. HA HA Mad- They were already sad , and I made it even worst.

It had an over cast here today with a slow drizzle. The clouds are gone now. When it suns up more I will get to prime some Silver river, Black Mammoth, Bursa and Xanthi Yaka with a smell amount of Lonnies Havana, Samsun M, Gold Dollar and White Mammoth to tie on the cure stakes to dry befor I put the heat and humidity to them. Mad-

What is "Lonnie's Havana"?

Origin I am not sure of. Lonnie is/was a reputable grower on another growers forum as I understand. I was gifted some seed last year for my first grow. I am not a big cigar guy but like one on occasion, so I grew it. Made some nice cigars that taste like good cigars (sorry, not qualified to give a better description). I sent MO seed, and grew it again this year, as it is a good grower, cures well, and tastes good.
