Checked on the garden patch this morning and their may be hope. Although most leaves will surely be lost and the plants look horrible, the terminal bud on a majority of them has picked up and turned skyward......so maybe most will recover. Just a waiting game now (and a few days without torrential downpours of rain would be nice).

Sunny today and tomorrow and then they're giving about 30% chance for the following eight days. Two of my varieties got sun stroke today. The Olor and YTB are wilted right down to the ground. They should perk back up tonight, but I'll have a look at them early in the morning to be sure. My seed grow out plants are looking really good. I've got to get the two patches ready tomorrow if it's dry enough. I'll lay down the fabric and drip lines and get my holes cut in the fabric. I'll be glad to get those little babies planted! 180 plants to go and I'll be planted out.

I will get my 20 VA Gold in this weekend, and fill in lost ones in the two patches with the "bench warmers" and be done for a while. 212 total if they all stay alive.

Keep in mind I'll have 87 flue cure plants (also known as Virginias) for seed grow outs I can't possibly harvest and cure. They're reserved for you if you want them. (I may want a hand from each variety for sampling)
