A couple of friends of mine are lucky enough to be travelling to Budapest for a few days away. Given the high cost of duty here in the UK on tobacco, I'm asking if they'd be so kind as to bring me something back.
I've recently got into the world of pipes, after 20+ year's on strong rolling tobacco. I've been enjoying Peterson Irish flake, nightcap, Balkan mix and some home grown dark burley. I love the nicotine hit, slow smoking and the Latakia that reminds me so much of black tea.
Does anyone have any recommendations for pipe tobacco that would be similar in strength and flavour, but perhaps something that is unique to Budapest or difficult to find in the UK?!
I live quite remotely, so pipe shop's for me are Hours of driving away, so thought I'd see if there was an idea for an opportunity of getting something different!
