Getting it up ... um ... the tobacco I mean!

Just came across these photos of an attempt I had to make an old fashioned sailor's perique (carrotte) of compressed tobacco by rolling it tightly in rope. On this occasion I got it a bit wrong and there was a part of the tobacco which bulged out of the top of the rope.

I figure that if I'm not successful in the tobacco processing industry I could always go in the novelty "adult" business instead!
