Hello everybody,

there seems to be a ton of information at this place. It will probably take a while to get started as there's so much to read, but as I've been thinking of growing my own tobacco for a while now, guess I'll just have to start somewhere.

I am familiar with rolling tobacco, pipes, cigars and snus, but I would mainly like to grow some decent pipe tobacco, if it's even possible in such a rather cold climate. Any recommendations are welcome :)

Best!

Get some leaf first to try. Get accustomed to the shredding etc and have the place to store your leaf the good stuff takes time

Welcome "catpainblack" nice to see you here!I don't think you will have any problem to grow your own tobacco. But take a little look one how long time the different types/variants need.To grow tobacco is one of the best thing I ever have done.. It's both funny and interesting, and I believe that the thing you have grow your self always will become the best thing you ever have tasted.. Hope you will like FTT just as much as I do.//Hasse

I have been looking at differences between Stockholm and Tallinn, it's very similar, so I would say that it seems like you can grow the most tobacco variants..
