Run it over with the 4 Wheeler. The whole thing. Then lease it to the dove hunters. My budy told me the other day that the market report said like $6 a bushel for corn? $6= 56lbs= Not good for the corn farmer. My budy is selling combine, corn cleaner, 75 hp. (I think) Kubota, all the plows and planters. All is a year and a half old.

This field and another beside this one was only 8 acres . I raised it to crush it as feed for my feeder calves .

Right now I could use a new tractor , mine is giving me all sorts of problems from fuel to hydraulic.
Get it fixed and it works like a new one but the next day may be totally different , down and out .

Me and my son have been looking at combines . We just can't figure out how to pay for one yet .

Those cows are probably gonna be eating straight from the cob this year and save you the work. Man I hope things turn the corner for you. I do keep y'all in my prayers. Momma always says GOD wont bring you to it , if he aint gonna bring you through it.

Can you use an old hay rake and windrow the field, then make silage out of it?

The corn is too dry to make silage with now .
I do wish I had of chopped more of it for my silage pile now that it may be wasted .

Yep I could add moisture but getting my chopper to pick it up to go through it would be near impossible . Plugging the chopper head would also be a big problem .

Knucks

I seen two does in there last night .
Went and did a little scouting today . It looks promising , several scraps and rubs .
