Emre got me interested in Turkish coffee and locum. I have Mahmet Efendi coffee and a Turkish coffee pot on order and I have already received my locum. I am waiting on the coffee to try it. It was made by Haci Bekir. I got the locum with mastic and an assortment with different nuts. What is your favorite?

Don't forget the Turkish coffee grinder, best grinder on earth.

I like that idea. More info on using the popper would be appreciated. Separate thread maybe?
Google it! There are tons of groups that roast their own. I tried the popper and thought it sucked ( or is that popped?). Ended up getting a real roaster from Sweet Maria's. The popper might be ok for small batches but I go though about a pound a week.
I did a search for locum. My guess is there is something lost in the translation

Perhaps i could explain this for you boys , its an electronic christmas greeting card from an swedish company to their customers and some naughty dude hack and replace the picture in their mail , the message say that the company are concerned about saving the trees in the woods and therefore send out an electronic greeting card instead

So far I like it the most with pistachio, but mixed nuts, this must be good to.
Also Baklavas from Istanbul are one of the best I have ever chance to try. One day I will be there, Emre!

Baklava is incredible Knuck, I think of it as a stickier nut roll that is lighter and melts in your mouth, porobably don't even need to chew it...LOL
I'll have to try it. Does it go good with Turkish coffee? Or is it a general purpose dessert?
