Hmm so rose geranium oil is one of my favorite essential oils and I almost always have some on hand. I've also grown the plant before sadly it's only annual where I am and I am not so great with plants indoors other than succulents. I've used it for diffusing, in skin care blends and in a natural insect repellant I make and I can smoke it too? Even better! Lol here I go down another rabbit hole! So is it safe to say any of the materials listed in the Latakia experiment from above are safe for smoking as well in small amounts as flavorings? I've become a Latakia junky and I've always enjoyed adding certain herbs into my tobacco so I am glad I came across this Latakia experiment list again! I saved it this time for future use. I have also smoke mullein it is supposed to be good for lung health and congestion. It grows wild around here so I have a realty supply of it when I need it and it doesn't take long at all to dry. @ChinaVoodoo how does one brown cure this or other herbs or tobaccos? I haven't seen that term used yet...

Also for anyone needing a lemon flavor perhaps Lemon Balm? It's lovely fresh and quite aromatic I am not sure how much of that lemon aroma holds once it's dry but it's not hard to find and it's also quite affordable. I just saw yesterday that it was listed in an herbal smoking blend that was for sale. So I am assuming it's also safe to smoke. Well as safe as anything else is that we all smoke. lol
That's disappointing but they can be used in the fires while curing the leaf?

I'm not saying that they are toxic, hazardous or even "unsafe". I'm saying that the health safety of random stuff that smells good when burned is mostly unknown. One might assert that a particular ingredient is safe if you can find a peer-reviewed, well-controlled, published study that has evaluated that ingredient when used in that manner. Just about anything that you inhale into your lungs after it has combusted will present health risks.

ell that is definitely true. We are are killing ourselves... lol the list just gives me some more things to investigate as I've always enjoyed adding certain herbs to my tobacco cigs. I like variety. It's the spice of life!
