I just have a different way of growing tobacco here in the desert than every one has where they are, kind of backwards.( sound kind of off the wall I guess) Rolling for Steve is a freebee. His leaf was a mess to work with. I feel for Him on just starting out. I hope web gets back to Me on His sticks? That is the only trade kind of deal I had. Go figure?"

Hey, Steve, thanks for the addy. I have a significant stash of rolls here from other FTT members which I have collected. Nice age on them. I'll shoot you a batch, and throw some store bought in, too. Innerwebz were down at the office most all day yesterday, so I am playing catch up here. Did not have a chance to reply to your message before this.

If Mad's saying that he had a swap with me, I don't recall it. I know I sent him a Christmas package; but there was no return either expected or received.

Preposterous postal paranoia on the part of preppers present prevents me posting your postal package tracking number... but I'll try to get it out today anyway.

Sorry to hear that Steve, not a nice way to do things.
I´ll be glad if you pm me your adress so i can send some of my cigars so you have something to smoke and look at. Maybe it will make try again for your self. You can´t compare the feeling by lightning up your own instead of something you bought. And for me it´s chance to get a opinion (is it the right word?) from another smoker, unfortunately i don't have any cigar smoker around.

They roll great smaller ring cigars.

Smaller ring, is that like ordinary cigarette´s or bigger? Do you use binder leaf instead of paper? Sounds like a easy way to use up the scrap

Larger than a cigarette. Bout size of a swisher sweet.
Yep use leaf as your paper. I do a single Binder and follow with a wrapper.

well after this weekend im going to see if my rolling sucks.

3 years ago i rolled some sticks. but it was with '' ordinary '' leaf... not the proper leaf to make a nice stick with.

but thanks to KNUCKLEHEAD and INDIAN JOE.... ive got some good cigar leaf,

its suppose to rain tomorrow, so i hung them in the shed to re-hydrate.

I think there are people here who do. I don't see any rollers on any videos anywhere weighing their leaves. What I do see all of them do is feel the bunch in their hand to sense the bulk of it. All of them. They feel it. So if you're going to learn, you might as well learn the right way.
