I've tried a 1.1 ratio of sugar and water with a touch of vinegar as per a simple recipe I found to see what that dies before I add any additional flavours in. Boiled for 10 mins as per the instructions but it ending up very think so I added more water so it would spray better I'm assuming it shouldn't be too thick or else the nozzle wouldn't spray it. I've left it to air dry for a while before il bag it and get it back to 70RH and give it a go and see what it tastes like I'm not expecting big things as I haven't added any extra flavours in I.e lemon honey or chocolate more of a base line on this test batch.

Small update after drying it out it has a lovely taste so I'm thinking by the time I can blend this with some burley eventually will be what im after. Maybe il experiment with some added flavourings I get slight chocolate notes from my shop bought tobacco so maybe start there(just not sure on ratios), so far my tobacco has a slight candyfloss taste which is nice, onwards and upwards from here.

Nice I have have to give that a try once the burley is ready, he mentioned roasting after applying is this essential? Could I get away with popping it in the kiln to dry it out it runs at 50 degree Celsius. I've invested in a finer mister as I ended up with a few balls of small buts of tobacco with the casing mixture that when I break it up there's some crystallised sugar or maybe that's that not heating it long enoth ? So many variables it's a bit daunting haha.
